Ease Up began in the Fall of 2009 in Los Angeles, CA with the idea of starting a band that blended elements of ska punk, reggae and rock. Since 2009, Ease Up has independently released two EP’s, If You Only Knew (March, 2010) and On the Fly (June 2011) while playing an average of 100 shows per year. Ease Up has shared the stage with many popular ska/reggae/rock bands including: Fishbone, The Aggrolites, Tomorrows Bad Seeds, The Expendables, Mishka, The English Beat, The Dirty Heads, Pato Banton, Natural Vibrations, Echo Movement, C-Money & the Players Inc., Seedless, Stranger, and many more. Ease Up is currently writing and recording new music at 17th Street Recording in Costa Mesa, CA for their first full-length album to be released in Spring/Summer 2013.
