Gunner Down is a high energy rock & roll band specializing in music from the 70's thru the present. Starting out as Vanishing Point in the mid 90's the band has evolved into the current lineup consisting of five seasoned veterans from around the country but now based in the Orlando, Fl. area. They are Kevin Henry - lead vocals, Dominic Topel - guitar & vocals, Rex Alan - lead guitar & vocals, Scott Wingfield - bass & vocals and Kevin Cavone - drums & vocals. They have been playing the Florida circuit almost solid for the past 10 years and have shared the stage with Quiet Riot & Joan Jett to name a few. They took top spot in the Orock 105.1/Adobe Gilas "Gila Fest and battle of the bands" and have done shows for Oakley ( Orlando ), Paul Frank ( Los Angeles ), Hurley ( Laguna Beach ), Surfer Mag, Vestal, Planet Earth, Adio & Von Zipper ( Virginia Beach ), Spyz Eyewear & Surf City Surf Shop ( Wrightsville Beach ), Island Water Sports ( Ft Lauderdale ) and have been the featured band at Pointe Orlando during the bi-annual Surf Expo at the Orlando Convention Center and Cinco de Mayo for at least the past 5 years. They also played the House of Blues in San Diego for S.I.M.A.,and the House of Blues in Orlando for Hurley Surf Co. Combined they have over 50 years of experience in the music industry including touring, recording and doing videos. Their live shows are pure energy and must be seen to believe.
