Take the thoughtful lyricism of Lupe Fiasco, the R&B sentimentality of Drake, the bravado of Kanye West and throw on the Miami Vice soundtrack and you've got Electromajic; and Keith Masters is it's pioneer. His Electronic, Pop, Hip Hop hybrid music can currently be heard on NBC, MTV, ESPN, The Oxygen Network, the NFL Network and more. He has worked with some of Europe’s hottest producers including Digikid84 and Futurecop!, as well as some buzzing artists in the US such as French Horn Rebellion, Hey Champ! and Kosha Dillz. If that’s not enough - Keith has had three top 5 singles charting on Hype Machine, and combine that with his impressive supporting performances with the Wu-Tang Clan, Foster The People and many others, Keith has proven that he is ready to embrace the spotlight.
After working with British synth-pop duo Futurecop! & recording two tracks, including the internet favorite “1988 Girls” in 2010, Keith signed with Germany based indie label Kiez Beats Records in 2012. His first LP, "Electromajic: The Remixtape" was released that April and drew rave reviews from fans and critics alike, earning him features on Beatport and top charting on Hype Machine. Months later, he collaborated with BASHtone to create the EDM and Hip Hop hybrid single "Desoto", which also charted on Hype Machine in the top 15 and was featured on Beatport and iTunes next to releases by Usher, Ne-Yo, Deadmau5 and Boys Noize. In November, he self released the single, "Game Day: Part II", which was licensed by ESPN, NFL Network, Fox Sports, and has been picked up to play in multiple NBA stadiums during televised games.
2013 has been, in a word: Majical. Keith started off the year joining the highly publicized Cannibal Ox Reunion Tour in January. He followed that up with a headlining performance in Chicago at the Heineken Summer Concert Series and still managed to lead a successful Kickstarter campaign, raising over $5,000 to fund his newest and most commercially ambitious single "Very First Time". The single, as well as the music video, has been picked up by Fox Sports to air on this season's programming. The single has also been airing in tens of thousands of retail stores across the US. Keith has done it all; making music with some of the trendiest producers, performing with legendary Hip Hop artists, charting number 1 on Hype Machine and earning the attention of respected bloggers and journalists globally. He’s even been on an episode of HBO’s Entourage as well as the "Braxton Family Values" reality show! Not every artist is creative or daring enough to start their own genre. In the 70’s there was disco. In the 80’s there was new wave. In the 90’s there was hip-hop. Now, in the year 2014, there is Electromajic and Keith Masters is how you get your party started!
