Lisa Marie Spooner a.k.a. Reality is known for her down to earth and soulful sound. Born in Lowell Massachusetts, the youngest of 3 children, Lisa knew her destiny was to sing and help others. At age 5 she announced to her family that she would become a singer and began singing in soup kitchens where her Grandmother volunteered.
Lisa took her passion for music and writing to heart when her family moved to Palm Bay Florida where at age 12 she wrote a song for then Governor Lawton Chiles. By age 14, young Lisa sang the national anthem during an L.A. Dodgers game. True to her stage name “Reality”, the reality of Lisa’s future unfolded when she won a high school all-state singing competition, receiving a Superior in her vocal range. This victory opened the doors for a chance to sing live on FOX25 news with Neil Armstrong during the 2nd season auditions of American Idol. Now a multilingual singer (Italian, French, Spanish), Lisa draws great strength, inspiration and power from artist, Mary J. Blige of whom she credits for pulling her through the challenges of her own personal life.
As a mother of 3 Lisa continues to combine her talent, life experiences and passion to help others in her daily life. Often opening her home and heart to those in need, she encourages her children to give back. Each holiday season they make or donate one unopened gift to sick or less fortunate children. When Lisa is not writing or singing, she donates her time speaking, performing at shelters to victims of domestic abuse, and feeding the homeless.
Lisa Marie Spooner’s talents are as big as her heart. And the reality is.. she is now embarking on a full time music career with a passion to share with the world.
