Nashville Tennessee is home to new music group, DOWN HOME. Committed to faith and family roots, DOWN HOME brings a fresh new mix to country and gospel music. DOWN HOME'S harmony rich sound has been shaped by one of Nashville’s Music Veteran’s, Multi-Grammy and Dove award winning producer David Lehman. Their sound is acoustically pleasing, their presentation is visually engaging and their concerts are a perfect blend of DOWN HOME sincerity and great music.
DOWN HOME’S powerful blend is out of the ordinary because it is built on the natural talent of two teenagers. Michael McEwyn the 6’3” 14 year old bass singer, who has been likened to a young Josh Turner by Nashville’s inner circle, lays the foundation for the group’s harmonic blend. Singing lead for DOWN HOME is a full-size job for a young lady who is just sixteen. AnnMarie McEwyn’s out front inspiring vocals are the prominent thread to the group’s tight sound.
DOWN HOME presents a powerful concert experience that is enhanced through the utilization of Mulit-Sensory A/V Components. Three large (12ft – 20ft) HD multi-media video screens bring powerful panoramic visual imagery, a state-of-the-art intelligent light system that creates a different package / look for each song experience, special stage effects that allow the concert attendee to feel completely engaged and a high quality sound system so the message in the music can be completely understood and heard.
DOWN HOME’s harmony reflects that point on a dusty road where the country group Lonestar meets Gaither Vocal Band; where the tight vocal mix of The Isaac’s and the down to earth manner of The Easter’s all come together.
