Brenda's singing career began at the age of 14. She sang in her hometown church whenever she was given the opportunity. It was then, she realized this was her hearts desire to share her God given talent with the world, which also led to performing in local and state fairs, weddings, events of all kinds and singing the National Anthem for minor league baseball games.
In 1986, she received the talent award for the Miss T.E.E.N. Pageant. More recently, she participated in and won numerous vocal contests locally and have sung with various gospel groups and bands in and around her hometown.
In August 2006, Brenda was selected to perform in the "Nashville Music Network Showcase", held at "The Gibson" in Nashville, TN .
November 2006 she was selected to participate in the "USA World Showcase" in Las Vegas, Nevada, held at the "MGM Grand Hotel" and placed First Female Vocalist in the Gospel Division. She was aired on PAX TV.
May 2007 & 2008 Brenda had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem for the WNBA at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC.
She has been singing the Open Ceremonies for the IBR Rodeos and AIFA & CIFA Games.
In July 2007 & July 2008, Brenda auditioned for the "Colgate Country Showdown" and was selected as one of the twelve (out of 60 auditions) to participate both years.
Brenda is not a superstitious person but believes her lucky number is 13. The number has played an important part in her life. For example, in 1981, at the age of 13 while attending a Church of God Youth Camp, Brenda received Jesus into her heart and life. She also received the baptism of the Holy Spirit under the ministries of Perry Stone and Judy Jacobs. Since that time Brenda has believed that everything happens for a reason and that God is in total control of everything, but sometimes we get in His way, as you will see as you read her story on her BrendaEyler.com website coming soon!
Brenda is a friendly, fun loving, compassionate, God fearing spirit who loves to make people laugh and smile. Upon first sight she is often misjudged and thought of as being "Stuck Up" because of her shyness and poised appearance. But if you take the time to get to know her you soon realize that she is very open and down to earth kind of gal. The type who would give anyone in need the shirt off her back, and if given the chance, would become the best friend you ever had. Brenda is also easily distracted and attracted to things that are glittery, sparkly, and shiny-just like the character Dory. Looking nice is important to her. She loves to dress up and wear high heels that are unique, not like ones most people would wear. The beach, bowling, skating, riding her Harley on warm summer days, and spending time with her family, especially her two boys, are all things she loves. However, her passion is serving God and singing.
