David W Lindberg was born and raised in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, one of the largest steel towns in the Monongahela Valley of Western Pennsylvania in the 1950’s. David’s parents, David and Hannah Lindberg, knew at an early age that he was destined to play music. When David was 12 years old, his parents bought an organ and started David taking lessons. His music teacher recognized David's gift of bringing emotion and passion to his playing in only a few weeks. “My Dad kept me on a path of learning and experiencing performance skills from that point on”. David’s first professional job was playing organ music in a local restaurant at the age of 14. Eventually, when he heard The Beatles and the explosion of rock into his teenage years, David started playing with a few friends at the age of 16. The band, “Bluesberry Jam” was one of the best young rock bands in the McKeesport area and played for many local city and school functions and won the high school battle of the bands contest.
Now, David has come full circle and is devoting his career to music by writing and performing. His first collection of original songs are of the new age/easy listening genre. “Thoughts of Home” will relax you while listening to sounds of nature blended with spiritual selections that will give you peace and allow your mind to take you to far away moonlit falls, thoughtful rain storms and quiet breezes along shorelines, and off to sailing in a sunny bay.
“I have made it my mission to make music what I do. It is never too late to try to fulfill your dreams and I have put my true gifts in the background for far too many years. I want to spend the rest of my time on this earth using what God has blessed me with to give my passion and emotion for music to others”.
