This band started the natural way... The right people kept showing up at the same places, admirations were admitted and bonds were formed. The result was a group producing dark green music from the hills... front porch mountain music laced with front man David Rhodes Brown's rootsy American song writing. Brown is joined by Uncle Mike Carr on fiddle, John Schmidt on upright, Scott Risner on mandolin, Casey Campbell on washboard and Mark Alexander on guitar to form Kentucky Timbre. The Boone County Caterwaulers (Amy Engleman, Jeanne Sheridan and Jenny Loveless) sing back up vocals and occasionally enthrall you with their own acapella versions of songs you know and love.
