I was born in Ft. Myers, Florida in 1976. Raised by a single mom in Roxbury, Ma up to the age of 9. Do to a tragic fire, i have been living in Weymouth, Ma ever since.
Before the fire, i was a dancer in a break dance group called Lil Bostown. We were a shadow group to a older team called The Funkafects. We battled groups from all over the east coast including "The Floor Lords". When i was forced to move to the suburbs, all the entertainment came to a halt until Junior High days.
My brother Tony Thomas and our best friend Jerome Vaughan started going to these dances that were mainly held at local churches, 1st Church and Central Church in Weymouth. We where in these holy places showing the white kids how to get busy on the dance floor. They loved it. Brought the city right to there front step.
I wrote my first rap when i was 9 on Savin St in the Boston. I always felt like i had to prove myself to the people around me. But actually i was proving everything to myself. There was nothing that i could not do. When speaking in the sports category. So it was music and sports throughout High School.
My many track records are still posted up on the wall at Weymouth High. I dought the sprinting records will ever come down. I also have the state record to boot, so if somebody beats those records, that person will also run in the olympics. We know the chances of that happening are slim.
The music got seious in 2006. I started going to Cyber Sounds Studios in Boston to record the many rhymes that i had wrote. While writing the lyrics, I realized that the voices that I heard in my head singing the raps back to me all seemed to be a little different to me. I couldnt decide what voice to use when rapping. So when i recorded the tracks, i aloud the pitches to come out natually.
And thus i give you Zero Hr. A CD with 5 different voices all from the same person. I have more stories than one would believe. But i try to make feel good music. I use the creativity in a rhythmic flow. If you turned off the beats behind my lyrics, you will still hear a melody in the words. I dont hide behind the beats, the beats hide behind me.
