Maybe you've never heard the name. Maybe you've seen her from time to time before she got hitched; lingering in the Abilene night-life at open mics and sitting in with other local artists as "Lyndsey Roberts". She is no stranger to the Texas music scene, but the show has yet to begin for Lyndsey Buchanan.
This girl was raised up near Anson, Texas - a small West-Texas farming town North of Abilene. By age 14, she was stage-ready and had already cut her teeth in the local VFW Post 8929 from the minute she had learned 3 chords at age 11. Her mother (single at the time), would go on to be a "terrible" influence - introducing Lyndsey to more honkytonks around the area and leaving an imprint of the night life on her music. It is over a decade later, now; and Lyndsey has been dealt just about every card but the life of a musician. A gig here, a rough recording there, and not much glory to show for the talent this lady truly possesses. But every card she's been dealt is a song; a weathered, hopeful deck just waiting for a good hand to lay down.
Lyndsey Buchanan is currrently gearing up to begin recording her first studio project some very soon in 2014, and is taking booking inquiries for acoustic performances. Look for updates on Lyndsey's music and upcoming shows exclusively on:
