Too old to mess around, too young to know better, Post War is 5 folks from the Southeast who have made it work despite the distance and differences, burying that under a mound of music and love. Playing by the mantra that "8 things done simply, but done well", they are the right mix of ol' Appalachia and indie rock, telling stories deeply personal and highly accessible.
Formed in June of 2012 between guitarists Jimmie Monroe Gregory, Brett Joiner and front man Tyler Nafe, they quickly fleshed out acoustic songs, and searched for the right elements to add to their emotionally resonant material. After collaborating with a series of talented musicians, Post War was excited to complete their line up with the classically trained Dana McCollum Timms on violin and crystal clear vocals, and the young talent Harrison Jones armed with a host of drums and percussion.
