Hunter Bowen was born in Fort Worth, TX. When Hunter Bowen was five years old his parents bought him his first guitar. At the age of nine he started his signing career. When Hunter Bowen started eighth grade he and his friends would play and sing in the school lunch room during lunch hours. Upon graduation Hunter Bowen started performing in small bars and clubs.
Hunter Bowen shared his own brand of traditional country music with an ever-growing legion of fans. Hunter Bowen the singer-songwriter is working on his first album.
A solid touring schedule will help Hunter Bowen strengthen his already powerful vocals. "My voice is so much stronger than it was when I was in High School.
In addition to headlining his own shows, Hunter Bowen will be touring with Locash Cowboys. "Touring with Locash Cowboys will be so much fun," Hunter Bowen says. "It will be a chance to watch what they’re doing and plug it into what I hope to do one day."
Hunter Bowen knows how to keep them coming back. "When the crowd sees you having fun and you’re giving them great music, it’s a deadly combination," Hunter Bowen says, "Look at George Jones. He just goes up there and plays ‘em a show. That’s what you gotta do. You just got to enjoy it and have a good time.
A certified country boy, Hunter Bowen would enjoy having a log cabin near his hometown in Fort Worth, TX. Hunting, hanging out with my grandpa, swimming and riding horses. But this will all have to wait, because I don't plan on slowing down anytime soon.
