Doraleon Belin was born July 13, 1964 to the parents of the late Annie Mae and Chester Stanton. Ms Belin is the youngest of all of her siblings but they all share the same faith in Christianity implemented through the musical journey of praise and worship. Ms.Belin has sung amongst great leaders in the gospel with her group PSD Gospel Singers of Laurinburg,N.C. such as: Charles Cook, Lee Williams, Doc McKenzie, Keith “Wonderboy” Johnson, Evelyn Turntine Agee, Harvey Watkins, Darrell McFadden, Jackson Southernaires, LaShaun Pace, Mississippi Mass Choir, Sensational Nightingales, Slim and the Supreme Angels and more. Doraleon has sought opportunities to showcase her solo talents; she performed in Miss World Gospel 2003 in Winston-Salem NC. In 2006 she participated in the “Jesup Idol” contest in Jessup GA; there she was awarded third place.She also experience the chance to tryout for sundays best.She had an exciting time, eventhough she wasnt chosen.She was excited to have that experience and plans to tryout again next year.She always say(you can never experience failure, if you never try. Doraleon is forever adding to her repertoire by not only writing songs for her first solo CD, but also by writing an original stage play entitled “Blinded By Love”.She working on her very first film entitle"A Young Black Man On His Way To Change" and a book "Behind Closed Doors".She just wrote a song for this film "Even Eye" sung by minister Duranice Pace one of the Annoited Pace sisters.So check out the website(www.eveneyethemovie.com) Ms. Belin was extended the invitation by Mrs. Barbara McLaughlin to be on the advisory board of the National Association of Gospel Promoters and Mangers, which she accepted in 2008. Ms. Belin strongly believes in getting the word out to stop domestic violence, this is something that has taken over families and friends. These days Doraleon can be found at her home in High Point, NC, where she is surrounded by her three children Krystal, Darrell, and Evelyn. She continues to travel to sing when given the opportunity. She is pressing toward her calling the is in Jesus Christ.
