This is a group derived from very different taste, styles, and influences from each other but yet, find away to come together to create a new chapter in rock music. Catchy, powerful guitar riffs, thumping soulful bass, flowing melodic lyrics, and hard hitting rhythmic drumming would form the sound that is Averse To The End.
The Hard rock project was started in 2010 when (Vocalist) Brandon Danforth and (Guitarist) Travis Owen started collaborating on songs in a loft in Westminster. However, it wasn't until late 2011 that the band was formed with a complete lineup with (Bassist) Trevor Saunders and former drummer, Nick Hesser. The band’s success with their monstrous live shows, would lead them to playing many theater shows in the Denver area, opening for large acts including Saving Abel, 3 Pill Morning, and The Protomen among the list. To say the least, Averse To The End has been making noise in the local scene for the better portion of 2012-2013.
With the Departure of Nick Hesser the band opened up its variation in style adding current drummer Chad Corsentino and (Lead Guitar) Michael “Tiki” Ortiz. The band’s new single “Fists Up” (which debuted on May 13th 2014) is the band’s new stamp on a dying genre that is sure to have venues anywhere rocking once again.
