Utility Life is comprised of Artits with a vast platform of skills and formed in the fall of 2009 at the Gear Factory, a 5 story historic building that has been revitalized and converted into studio and rehearsal space for creative types. Leading and the founder of the band Dustin Regner Vocals/ Guitar invited the influential Keith Brown Drums, Tina Zagyva Trambone, Jake Lammana Bass and Michael Timmons Guitar to write and preform. Keith Browns departure in the spring of 2010 paved a course for the introduction of Elias Gwinn, musician and sound engineer extraordinaire. Now under Elias's direction, the band began utilizing Veladoxi where they would record and rehearse for the next year. In the spring of 2011 the band would make two more fundamental and important additions Adam Lindaman Guitar/ Banjo and Leslie Breenan Trambone. Influenced by the Likes of the Velvet Underground, Bob Dylan, the Pouges and Kurt Cobain the band explores a rudimentary full and expressive sound. In the words of Elias " we sound like a drunken funeral procession that THROBS " !
