Kristen Rae Bowden is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and all around performer from Boone, North Carolina. In 2008 she received two Bachelor of the Fine Arts degrees from Elon University, one in Musical Theatre, and one in Acting. Kristen’s instruments and skills include piano, keyboard, flute, ukulele, singing, acting, and tap dancing. She has a unique style of songwriting and is a gifted storyteller and lyricist. Influences include Joni Mitchell, Bob Dylan, Townes Van Zandt, Allison Krauss, and Stevie Nicks.
Kristen is currently based out of Charlottesville Virginia, and is available for hire as a live performer, studio musician, songwriter, and tap dancer. She is also available for lessons in any of her musical and performing arts skills.
