Who are SINKING RUBBER DUCKS?
“…an international sound with a very personal voice …” (ABC Punto Radio)
“...a young band but with many years of individual musical background. They prove this with their songs and their sound -clear and straight- along with their live show, which lifts up and thrills any audience at any venue.” (Jack’s on The Rocks)
“...a band that doesn’t let itself get intimidated in live music festival...” (Hard Rock Café)
“...powerful and personal guitars; a creative and solid rhythm section; intense English lyrics and a voice that leaves no one indifferent.” (Música en Punto)
In short, mixing experienced Spanish musicians with a stylish and unique Dutch singer gave rise to this rock band with an international sound in 2010.
Sinking Rubber Ducks is a band difficult to typecast on a rock music style. If you had to look for similar sounds you could come up with bands like Skunk Anansie, Guano Apes, o Red Hot Chili Peppers. However they want to become a reference themselves in the international rock music scene.
All this time they’ve been showcasing their powerful live show on stage at different venues around Spain as well as in several outstanding music competitions.
Their first CD is called ‘Fairytales Lost’, produced by José de Castro and mastered by Joe Gastwirt in Los Angeles, California.
Hoping you’ll all join the "Ducks’ Flock"... KEEP IT DUCKIN’!!!
