Mike Tremblett is a Folk Singer-Songwriter telling stories with sincerity through his honest words and heartfelt music. Originally from Grand Falls, Newfoundland and now hailing from Norther New Brunswick, Mike brings a world of influences to his music from Classical to Rock, Jazz to Blues, all mixed with his East Coast roots. He released his debut album 'Exile' in 2013 and is working on his follow up release for late 2014.
Mike Tremblett studied tuba at Mt. Allison University while developing his bass chops across many genres on the side. He performed and toured as a member of Symphony New Brunswick, Nova Scotia Celtic recording artists Drimindown, and bassist for New Brunswick singer/songwriter Stephen Rideout. Mike is currently the bassist for Newfoundland Country artist Dave Thomson performing throughout Atlantic Canada, including East Coast Music Week 2014.
His debut solo album Exile was released in early 2013. Since then he has been supporting the album performing around New Brunswick. The 12 song collection documents his journey from the supporting supporting musician to lead vocalist and songwriter. Mike is currently in working on a follow up project produced by Dean Stairs at Newfoundland’s Citadel House studios to be released in late 2014. The album is tentatively titled “It’s About Time” and will feature 6 new songs.
You can find Mike Tremblett at home with his wife and kids in Northern New Brunswick, teaching Music at Dalhousie Regional High School, and more and more often on the road singing, playing, writing, performing and sharing his love of music.
