7Mornings / Bio

7Mornings, the Hoboken-based singer/songwriter pop/rock band that will leave you humming their tunes all day long. 7Mornings, who recorded their first release “Hurry Up and Wait” in Hoboken, has an upbeat, fresh sound that certainly serves as a reminder that “every day offers new opportunities,” as the band says their name reflects. Originally from Cape May, 7Mornings began their careers playing cover songs down the shore until the time came for the band to move to North Jersey in order to write and push their own music. They were runner-up in M.E.A.N.Y. Fest NYC 2008 and continue to fill prestigious venues such as Mercury Lounge, Rockwood Music Hall and Maxwell's to near capacity. The group's debut EP titled “Hurry Up and Wait” was recorded at Hoboken's Pigeon Club Studios and co-produced by Wayne Dorell, owner and engineer of the studio. Recently the band has finished another EP that was recorded in Hollywood, CA with producer Aaron Johnson (The Fray, Secondhand Serenade...) After three years in Hoboken and a decade together, 7Mornings is just getting started.
