Kno Sleep always knew music was her calling. She began writing poetry and singing at age 6. Hip hop was always a major influence on the poetry she wrote but she didn't start rapping until age 12 when she got her first Tupac album. Nothing could keep her from rapping or singing after that. She began freestyling around the block with friends and battling to get away from troubles at home instead of falling into the way of life of others in her neighborhood. But not until the age of 17 did she record her first track. After becoming homeless, she had to flee to New York and link up with her older brother in Long Island, who was the first person to put her in a studio. After that, her and mics became inseparable. She only stayed in NY for a year before coming home to Tampa, FL and taking venues such as Tabu, Pegasus Lounge and Club Skye by storm, just to name a few. Her style is cut throat, edgy and soulful all at the same time. She wants to bring about change in the industry and prove the saucy feminine image isn't necessary when packing a wallop of talent. She puts every emotion you can think of in her music and is sure to have a song for every listener.
