Motto Perpetuo born early in the new millennium at the hands of Jordi Fernández (guitar) and José Torrent (drums), both with considerable background and experience in the metal scene in Barcelona. During the early years, with a power metal style, the band made numerous performances and recorded the demo "Motto Perpetuo", getting a good response from his followers.
After numerous lineup changes and overcome several ups and downs, the band has just consolidated in 2007 with the incorporation of current singer Mireia Farré (voice), which provide a more melodic sound, current and fresh.
Included the participation in several competitions, including Emergenza, Ahme-Wacken Metal Battle Mz or where the group was at the top. During all these years Motto Perpetuo has acted in numerous venues and festivals, getting always satisfy your audience and getting a good experience on the stage.
In December 2009 debut Motto Perpetuo releases his "Perpetual Time", the first album of the band. An album that moves in the field of heavy and power metal more current, without neglecting classic reminiscences with some touches of progressive or Gothic type. The recording and mastering took place in the studies The Rulot (Barcelona), where his recording technician, Pau Andreu, with Jordi Fernández (guitar and main songwriter of the band) took the lead in production. The album contains 11 cuts, plus 3 bonus tracks which are remakes of a previous demo but with a more current sound. "Perpetual Time" was released by the record Asturian Santo Grial, which was responsible for the distribution.
In this debut album the band reflects the hard work of years of work. A sober and fresh sound with a solid base, a strong guitars and bright melodies more good vocals and keyboards is what can be heard on "Perpetual Time".
After the success of the album by the critics and audiences, the band returns to having a fairly long period of changes in training. Currently the band is again established. The group continues to promote "Perpetual Time" and is already working on new songs to record a second job.
