Jonathan Enix / Bio

It is my sole intention to bring glory to God by, one, praising Him publicly through my music, two, inspiring other musicians to join me in establishing Christian art as the forefront of every culture and genre across the world (as well as acknowledging truths that can be found in non-Christian art as a depiction of knowledge of God, though limited), and three, sharing the truth that Christ died to offer salvation to every human ever so that any person who is called and chooses can live life forever and more abundantly.

My songs talk about love, hope, pain, joy, satisfaction, longing -- all aspects of life. Not every song I've written mentions God by name, but certainly every one has been inspired by His presence in my life.

In September 2011, I released my first studio album, Hope for Love. I didn't realize it at the time, but those songs thematically dealt with what I was experiencing at the time of release. Some of the songs on the album were written years apart, but somehow they had all come together on that one album with a single thread running through them all. I titled the album Hope for Love because that's what the album is -- hope can be a noun or a verb -- both a presentaion of hope, and a message for others, "Don't despair; hope for love." My prayer for this album, as with everything I do, is that God will use it to show His love to everyone who hears it, that people will realize that God's love is present in the good times and the bad, and that, no matter what, there is always someone who truly loves you to hold you through your darkest nights and your richest joys.
