The Waymires / Bio

Have you ever wondered what happened to Rock & Roll bands that made people want to dance? The Waymires were formed with the single goal of getting people involved in the Rock &Roll show again. Their classic but gritty sound is reminiscent of previous rock icons like Led Zepplin and The Who, but the Waymires are sure to incorporate the styles of Ray Charles, The Zombies, and The Doors to usher in a mixture of arrangements that encourage the audience to, once again, participate in Rock & Roll. For the last three years they have been playing all around the Mid-West, catching the attention of music lovers from all genres.

Their recently released EP, Rock and Roll EP, with its relentless, gritty sound has been heard on over 250 CMJ radio stations in North America. Building on contemporary Garage Blues artists like Jack White and The Black Keys, Rock and Roll EP has taken the next step for rock by keeping the basic rock sound at its core, while allowing the raw musical talent of the band members to speak for itself.

With the bands relocation to Nashville, their next project is in pre-production and can be expected to be available late 2015.
