Merrily and the Poison Orchard / Bio

Merrily and the Poison Orchard was formed in 2009 shortly after the songwriter Merrily Ruth Rosso’s move to Brooklyn from Phoenix, Arizona. She quickly found like-minded musicians and started performing in small venues in Brooklyn and Manhattan. After two years of pounding the pavement, the band released its debut album, "Time and Hell", leading to radio play in colleges across the country. The band started performing at larger venues, and outside the city in Boston, Connecticut, and most notably the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The band's glorious second album "diminish" will be released August 20th, available on iTunes and at shows. Stay tuned!
