Solomon's Hollow is a fictional place that happens also to be real. Oops.
The nice thing about fictional places is they can move. Solomon's Hollow was as far away as Portland, OR for a couple of years, but recently followed frontman Nate Agenbroad back to his hometown of Boise, ID, where cellist Mark Doubleday, violinist Angie Stevens, percussionist Marcus Orton, and bassist Kyle Baas added their names to the roster. This latest incarnation of Agenbroad's long-running studio project takes a few calculated steps back from the jazz influence of recent years and replaces it with carefully plotted string arrangements, four-part vocal harmonies, and occasionally a ridiculous time signature.
