Timothy Jermaine Johnson (born May 12, 1986 in Pineville, Louisiana) is a Christian artist who produces, performs, and writes his own music. Timothy lives in Alexandria, LA (a few miles from his hometown in Colfax, LA) with his wife and daughters. A man from humble beginnings, Timothy tapped into his natural talent at the young age of 10 when he and his cousins formed a gospel quartet called “The New Generation”. Timothy and the other members of the quartet sang for thousands of people as they traveled all over Louisiana singing gospel. Timothy’s love for singing for Jesus was influenced by his mother, aunts, cousins, and grandfather who all traveled Louisiana in quartets singing the gospel. With a family full of musically inclined members, Timothy picked up the torch quickly. By 2007, 21 year old Timothy had begun producing music for local gospel groups as well as hip-hop artists. Timothy crossed over from being a gospel singer in his youth, to becoming a hip-hop artist and founding member of “Real Talk Entertainment” with his two brothers. In 2008 Timothy’s first self produced, written, and mixed/mastered album titled “I Found Me” was released. He released three more hip-hop albums over the next four years. Although Timothy was making hip-hop music, he could not deny or ignore GOD’s calling on his life so he began to make his way back to his Christian roots and combined his old school gospel talent with his new school hip-hop talent to create a Christian rap/gospel album called “Lost & Found” in 2013. This album was more than just music to Timothy; it signified the beginning of his journey from being lost in the world to being found in Christ. Since his journey began, Timothy has become a born again Christian, has created the Christian record label “Redeemed Music”, and continues to spread the gospel through song and music with hopes of spiritually impacting lives across the world.
