Pain Addict was formed 2 years ago, but because of line-up changes within the band and a near fatal injury to one band member their time making music together isn't nearly that long. But in the short time that the present band line-up has been together a unique, innovative and original sound has gradually evolved. Originally formed with the intent of being solely a Punk Rock Band the creative forces of each band member have combined to create a sound that has developed into a blend of Punk, Angry Pop and Hard Rock. And after listening to them and seeing them live you are very likely to have your own personal way of describing them and their sound. Though each band member had previously exprienced moderate success with other bands of varying genres(Rock/Pop/Punk/Metal) the members of Pain Addict have all found a comfort level working with each other and identified a common musical goal. Starting with the gutteral vocals and visceral screams of Paul Gibson, the intense and energetic guitar playing of Daniel Diaz and Zep Delaney, the steady, rhythmic drumming of Pete Gomes and the thundering bass of Mark Levitas, Pain Addict delivers their music with a passion and intensity rarely witnessed on todays' contemporary music scene.
