Apocalypse Theatre / Bio

Apocalypse theatre ( aka Apox ) is a troupe of tribal industrial electro-punk & gypsy metal misfits who have found themselves based in the heartlands of America after originating in Washington DC and moving to the Twin Cities from San Francisco. We have played over 1000 gigs in 47 states & we will come to your underground if you help us make it happen. If you live in Minnesota...Mercy Kill is the baby but equally potent sister of Apocalypse Theatre but upon leaving Minnesota MK ceases to exist and donates some of its song catalog to APOX. Mercury mad who has quite the following in Kansas City joins APOX and performs his unique brand of glam rock as well.

-- Since The early 90's the misfit goth-punk Apox tribe have embraced electronics while mutating all musical genres. Playing from coast to coast cities/towns/suburbs/farms and working/playing for events like The Burning Man Festival & Anarchy Village with members who have been in or played with the likes of Pigafce, Thrill KIll Kult, Cruxshadows and many others ( plus opening and supporting bands like Christian Death, Faith & The Muse, Fugazi & many many others) Apox has fielded well over 1000 gigs during an unusual existence that includes a cast and crew of over 100. Sometimes traveling in a caravan of 20+.
Then, somewhere and sometime ago lost in America after a decade of homelessness they were lost themselves. Apox is a song and a story of a caravan that is regrouping and planning to begin a new restless journey to find a new base-camp and collect new adventures in 2012.
