In a genre dominated by solo artists, The Dungarees stand out as a 5-man brotherhood, dedicated to their love of traditional, high energy country music.
The Dungarees have performed at some of the biggest country festivals in Canada, including Big Valley Jamboree and Dauphin CountryFest.
And with a new single in the works, produced by multiple CCMA winner, Bart McKay, The Dungarees will soon be taking over the airwaves too!
They have a definitive musical mandate; Take the undeniable lyrical styling, twangy telecaster and steel guitar that they love from classic country, and inject it with modern intensity and pop sensibility.
Skillful and passionate musicians conversant with both the traditions of the Bakersfield & Grand Old Opry as well as some of Nashville’s newer stars, The Dungarees invariably please a wide variety of audiences. From Rodney Crowell to Buck Owens, Waylon Jennings to Dwight Yoakam, The Dungarees keep the crowds two steppin’ until well into the evening.
All five members of this traditional country music outfit are essential players in a number of different national & international recording artists bands as well as their own original bands (Robb Angus in The Wheat Pool, James Murdoch of Adam Gregory Band, his solo project and Darrek Anderson of The Guaranteed) or essential members in others (Brad Tebble in Hey Romeo, Kiron Jhass in The Uncas) The Dungarees have had a great deal of touring and recording experience to call on.
They’re dedicated to showing an audience a fantastic time and making sure the crowd enjoys themselves as much as the band does on stage; miss them at your own peril.
