Born and raised in San Francisco CA and now living on the Big Island of Hawaii. Vic is a product of his environment with the influences of the revolutionary rock/blues/metal/funk of the 70's, 80's, 90's and new millennium. Vic Scocca - drums, bass, guitar, piano, synth., harmonica, vocals and audio engineer. Professional Theatrical Stage Technician by trade, I.A.T.S.E. Union Local #16 SF CA. SF Opera, SF Ballet, Bill Graham Presents, Circle Star Center, Pro Sound, Holzmueller Productions, VAS PRODUCTIONS SF/Hawaii. Former bands include THE MAKE, AFTERSHOCK, TRYX, STEEL ILLUSION, TREMAYNE, SPECIES OF PRIMATE. OVERPOP is the first solo album to be released by Vic Scocca. The name "820" is Vic's old address in So.S.F. CA where he began playing rock music back in 1976 at the age of 14. Influences include The BEATLES, Chuck Berry, NIRVANA, AEROSMITH, THE CURE, BECK, HENDRIX, BLACK SABBATH, RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, SANTANA, NIN, CAKE, Beastie Boys.
