..-Mark Johnson plays Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin, Dobro and Harmony Vocals with Jessica Padgett and the Whiskey Fix band, as well as numerous other bands and vocalist including; Maude's Cabin, Hunter Price, Tasha "Mama T" Keeble, Matt Pippin, Hannah Thomas, Thomas Tillman and Van Shiver. He is also available for studio, weddings and fill in work. Mark gives music lessons at Bill Hardin Music in Macon, Georgia. Mark plays primarily Gibson Electric Guitars through Fender Amplifiers, Martin Acoustic Guitars, Honer Marine Band Harmonicas and a variety of differnt brands of Mandolins and Dobros. He is also an electronic technician with 32 years experience and available for amplifier and equipment repair. Throughout a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, he performed on stage in fourteen different states and four countries outside the U.S. After retirement from the Air Force, he moved back to his native Monroe County, Georgia, and with the help and support of his wife, Wendy, has played in several local and regional bands around the area and as opening acts for such artists as Lee Roy Parnell, David Lee Murphy, Zack Brown, Colt Ford, Pure Prairie League and Jackal to name a few. He has also worked as guitarist with Nashville Singer/Songwriter Kimberley Dahme, who was also the Bass player for the Rock Super Band "Boston". Mark has an extremely wide variety of musical influences ranging from Country and Southern Rock to Jazz to Bluegrass and nearly everything in between, but his primary musical influences are the Rock and Roll guitar hero's he grew up listening to like Dickey Betts, Gary Rossington, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eric Clapton. Since all of their kids somehow, miraculously reached adulthood, Mark and his wife Wendy live on a small farm in middle Georgia along with their Macaws, pigs, chickens, cats, and dogs.
