The Loaded Dice began as a rock duo from Tulsa, Oklahoma during the fall of 2010. Seth Park would carry his guitar down to drummer Charlie Spears' bottom floor apartment and the two would play as quietly as they could without angering the neighbors. The two shared a love for classic rock and roll as well as other famous rock duos The Black Keys and the White Stripes.
The Loaded Dice eventually moved their practice space into the back room of a nearby chapel and let loose their rock 'n roll sound. The band played several gigs the following winter attracting a devout college crowd following.
In the Spring of 2011 Seth and Charlie recorded "Demonstration Recordings" at the Closet Studios in Tulsa, and played some festival gigs the following summer.
Seth and Charlie set out looking for a bass player they could get along with, and eventually just started teaching Seth's younger brother, Cole Park, to play the bass. Seth and Cole were playing in a successful family bluegrass band at the time, so the two found lots of chemistry writing and playing together.
Now the Loaded Dice play regularly in Tulsa and nearby Bartlesville.
Many describe their sound as rockabilly, rock 'n roll, and they are often compared to The Black Keys and the Kings of Leon. The Loaded Dice's motto is "we'll play anytime, anywhere" and are currently looking for management and promotion.
