Green Genes from Denver, Colorado is a unique mixture of reggae, soul, funk, jazz, indie, acoustic, and jam/improve with songwriter structures and multiple hybrid styles forming a one-of-a-kind original sound with an irie presence and sound meaning. Combining slick hooks, smooth sounds, evocative lyrics, booming bass, and booty-shakin’ beats, Green Genes has created an uplifting sound all their own.
