Herukhuti Ausar of Money Over Death can best be described as a Rapping Soldier on the rise. The Raleigh, North Carolina warrior marches to a beat of his own. He has created a musical masterpiece that encompasses all genres of music. He has crafted a lyrical compilation that is certain to captivate all audiences. He has mastered the art of exemplifying his life’s struggles, through music - music that is genuine, raw, and real; yet uplifting and empowering.
Standing out at six feet four inches tall, Herukhuti is a lyrical powerhouse and his words are just as powerful and enlightening. Encountering and overcoming many of life’s trials and obstacles, Herukhuti has a story to tell and a testimony to give. He believes that his constant thirst for knowledge and truth, combined with his undying resilience and strength, is what distinguishes him from other artists.
His music glorifies Black Love and it is embodied in his single Thug Angel. Its strong, soulful vocals create a vision of thug passion. It’s a modern day love song that assures listeners that gangsters need love, too.
Herukhuti drops one for the ballers too with the song, Feds Don’t Like Me. This cut can be tagged the “Baller’s Anthem.” It is upbeat and geniune, with a chorus that yells “Feds don’t like me. DA’s want to knife me. Judges want to fight me. Cause I’m strong and I’m balling!” He depicts the life that is sought after, by any hustler worth his grain, but also explains that it’s a new era and … “Balling just don’t mean new cars and “bling-bling”. It means taking care of your business and doing God’s work.”
He further illustrates the dilemma of the Black Man with the hit Black Superhero. This song focuses on our unsung Black heroes; the Freedom Riders, who are overlooked and forgotten.
Herukhuti Ausar scored TWO music placements in the Bruce Willis and 50 Cent movie "Fire With Fire" tracks “Blood On My Shoes Ft. Slim the Mobster” and " I Didn't Kill'em", which, astonishingly, was unheard of for an up and coming indie artist to accomplish for the same movie.
Ausar aspires to introduce the world to the MONEY OVER DEATH movement as well as act, write movies and novels in the near future.
