.Who would have believed, back in 2009 when Cale started learning the guitar, that just a few years later, he would be a full time country artist, living on the road, his family sacrificing their home, to help Cale pursue his dream?
How does someone go from learning the guitar, to writing over 150 songs, racking up over 300 performances per year, and releasing 2 albums in such a short time? Well here are some of the highlights:
In 2009, he was chosen to be on Team USA for the World Championships of Performing Arts. Over 30 countries competed. He competed in singing, acting, and modeling. He was awarded 14 medals (7 Gold, 5 Silver & 2 Bronze) 2 All Around plaques, and the glass star for Jr. Grand Champion Actor of the World.
In 2010, he was given the opportunity of a lifetime to co-write with renowned song writers Steve Dorff and Bobby Tomberlin on Cale’s original song titled “A Country Song”, which is on his first CD “The Beginning”.
Cale recorded his first full length album "The Beginning" at Rainmaker Studios, Kennewick, WA in 2011.
Thanks to some incredible people that invested in Cale, and Fred Vail, of Treasure Isle Recorders in Nashville, he was able to record his 2nd album "True Love Waits" that released in 2013.
As 2013 started, the Moon's home sold after just 9 days on the market. The home of Cale Moon and his family, is now a motorhome...and the location...will be determined by his event schedule. We hope you will enjoy Cale's music, and follow along to see where this journey takes them.
Cale continues to perform wherever he is invited. Venues such as the Watershed Country Music Festival, at the famous Gorge Amphitheatre which is now the West's largest country music festival; famous places in Nashville like Tootsie's, Rippy's, Honky Tonk Central, Nashville Palace, John A's, Commodore Grille & the Bluebird Cafe. Fairs, Rodeos & Events everywhere such as the Pendleton Round-Up in Oregon, Central Washington State Fair in Washington & Clark County Fair in Nevada to name just a few.
Cale also sings at many churches, church events & benefit concerts as he travels across the country. He has even had the honor of singing his original songs for the live broadcast of the Nashville Cowboy Church, at the Texas Troubadour Theatre.
Cale is a country boy with a voice as deep & rich as the songs that he has written. Cale’s goal is to glorify God and to touch the lives of others through his music
