Konin is a solo electronica music artist. Born and raised in Zimbabwe, in Southern Africa. He has a great love for his country and counts himself lucky to have grown up in such a beautiful place.
His journey into writing lyrics and making music started in 1997. In 2002 Konin left his home country for the United Kingdom. London was perfect for inspiration at times, a world of new experiences and He started playing with different sounds and ideas, and experimenting with different programs which led to a collection of 7 Electronica / Pop songs entitled “Postcards from Limbo” in 2006, this was better received than his first attempt and started to gain a small fan base on the web, the song “Limbo” got a small amount of air time in the United States, being played by a Californian radio station.
In 2008 his new collection of 8 songs was called “Remembering Fire”. The styles varied from ballad to heavy techno beats. Included in the collection were the songs “Don’t Look Down” “Disappoint You” and “Breathe In”. The title track “Remembering Fire” has since been remixed by DJ Ramo and an EP released under the 66Khz Productions UK label. In 2010 Konin was signed to the label. " Play U Back" was the second single EP to be released under the 66Khz Productions label, also including a remix by DJ Ramo. The original version the song was also released on "Chill Out Essentials Vol. 2" Both of these these EPs are available on iTunes.
At present Konin is working on his new album "Disconnected Solo" , collaborating with other artists and also remixing his older material...
