Philippe BOUTHEMY, is a french singer – songwriter inspired by the american black music as Soul, Rn’b and above all Funk, specially the one of the 80′s .

Nevertheless, he’s staying attached to french language concerning lyrics, trying to join both things : french words & groove.

Before being able to play and compose some Funk, he played other musical styles, in groups as a keyboard player & as a chorus-singer until the age of 20. Then he became the singer in a group playing funk covers, performed in pubs & many clubs. He quickly started his own creation and finally found his own Funk 80’s style. Now the first album is out, produced by Boogie Times Records !
