started out playing in a band called Hades Thunder from 1988-1990. Then hooked up with Broken Sylence from 2000-2004 with Sean O’Neill on bass, Gwillym O’Neill on lead & rhythm guitars, Richie Escalante on drums, & Matt Dau on lead vocals and acoustic guitar. Later Gary Kessler replaced Richie. I played all the local clubs while in Broken Sylence. Played with bands such as, Grynch, Circle of Pain, Eves 2nd Sin, Sik 9, and others. Released Broken Sylence CD “Addiction To Madness” in June of 2001. Played on the local college radio station and the band got interviewed by the radio DJ. Played for the Hard Times producer at a club called The Brick House. Played every dump and dive around Lane County. Favorite venue was the old John Henry’s. Also loved playing for the crazy fans in Oakridge and at the Game Center in Cottage Grove. My first CD was recorded at Dogwood Studios. It was produced and mixed by Jeff Olson. My greatest moment was giving Dave Ellefson a copy in 2001. I received an e-mail saying he dug our stuff. I saved that e-mail which I received on September 11th 2001. That happens to be the second greatest day of my music career. My favorite band Megadeth dug my music.
