Autonomics / Bio

Every person on Earth is equipped with an Autonomic Nervous System. This amazing part of your body controls a vast array of human actions. Breathing, Heartbeat, Blinking, Muscle Reflexes and Sexual Arousal all count on your very own Autonomic Nervous System. Dan Pantenburg, Evan and Vaughn Leikam write, produce, record and perform an open-ended, deeply personal and systematically critical variety of their own brand of indie-rock. Everything, from the tiniest detail in structure to their songs, live performance and general direction of musical development has been, so far, a direct relation to one of the most vital complexes in the human body. Hence the name: Autonomics. Portland, Oregon houses these three guys who depend on their own natural ways of creating this music. All of what you hear is procured with very little resistance; it is instead brought about by naturally letting it all come out in an environment of second-nature. Much like Blinking, Breathing, Heartbeat, etc…. Nearing the age of 23 as of 2013, these Twin Brothers and their best friend don’t exactly know how else they would ever dream of making music together, much less hitting a stage and playing it in front of people they love for as long as they can. Trust your instincts.
