Having come together in Austin, TX from spots around the country including Portland, OR, Los Angeles, and New Orleans, the six members of Grizzly Adams Family create a music that is rooted in folk songs, but which branches out in many different directions. Hints of World, Jazz and Blues surround the thoughtful songwriting of frontman Chris Mosley, and the mix of instruments and vocal harmonies can create an ethereal kind of sonic impressionism, then turn around and give you Southern soul church groove.
The Family will release their debut ep in the fall of 2012.
