Nina is getting ready to release her new and highly anticipated CD this Spring 2012. For this new record, Nina worked with producer Chris Seefried who is becoming widely known for his authentic soul production style (Fitz and the Tantrums, Cat Power, Counting Crows). This new CD has elements of 60's soul with a quirky pop edge. Or as Nina calls it, "Future Retro". She is joined on this record by some noteworthy writers, producerss and musicians including, Stephan Skarbek (Amy Winehouse), Jon Flower (The Weepies), and Aaron Sterling (John Mayer). Recent comparisons to Eartha Kitt, Adele and Amy Winehouse, are causing an early buzz on this record which will be released in the Spring of 2012.
Her music has been featured on Fox (So You Think You Can Dance), NBC (Days Of Our Lives), CBS (Standoff), ABC (Alias), The CW (Girlfriends) The Discovery Channel, as well as several feature films including "Broken Hearts Club" (Sony Pictures).
Nina's versatility as a songwriter continues to expand as she has also just co-composed the film score to "The Company Man" which recently debuted at the Tribecca Film Festival.
In addition, Nina has become a featured songwriter for the NBC Hit TV Show, "Days Of Our Lives". Nina is also featured on 2 songs for the new Winona Ryder, Hillary Duff film, "Stay Cool" and her song, "I Wear You Well" is currently featured in the new Ford Fiesta Ad Campaign.
Nina has opened for such artists as Sarah Bareillis, Devotchka, The Rescues, Etta James, Ani DiFranco, Keb Mo' and Sarah McLaughlin. She has also been featured on CNN Showbiz Today, MTV Onlin and Rolling Stone Online.
Listed in the "20 To Watch In 2012" by the LA Examiner, Nina will be touring nationally this Summer in support of the release of her new CD, "This Naked Woman".
