"The first song's a rocker, but I've got many styles!"
Chris Olson, guitar player, songwriter, recording engineer and veteran of the Seattle rock scene that spawned bands like Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice N' Chains, Pearl Jam and countless others, changed focus in 2007 from performing live music to sell alcohol for club owners, to licensing compositions for hollywood films and television shows.
"The [Seattle] scene took it's toll on me and I had to get out....After hanging up my guitar for the better part of a decade, my wife urged me to get back to doing what I love! I thought it'd be great to get back into it as a hobby, nothing more than a way to be happy..but it turned out to be something much bigger than that!" In 2010 Chris signed three of his signature tracks, 'Shes Heatin Up', 'Where Were You?' and 'November Song' exclusively with Indigi-Music.
"It's nice to be recording again without the pressure and hassle of having a band to coordinate schedules and ego's with! If I get an idea in the middle of the night, I fire up my home studio and lay some tracks down.... it's that easy now. It's just great to be back recording and making music because it's always made me happy."
Although he has no plans to form a touring band, you can catch Chris on stage for various solo acoustic performances around north eastern Pennsylvania.
