P A BLUES BAND / Bio

"There is no wrong note, it has to do with how you resolve it" stated Thelonius Monk. I go one step further and feel that there is no wrong note, it's all in how you interpret the phrasing. Blues is one part musical notation and three parts human emotions. Wiki states, "Emotion is a complex psychophysiological experience of an individual's state of mind as interacting with biochemical (internal) and environmental (external) influences." In other words, play what you feel and make damn sure that you feel what you're playing. Blues music was rooted in communication so it just makes sense for the blues to make a bold statement with the help of whatever instrument (voice, harp, guitar etc.) is bringing the message.
Just putting together some tunes using multiple instruments in the confines of a mini-studio... with guests appearing whenever they feel like jamming... I've been in and around music all my life and it is my life... the blues are rooted deep in my soul and I wouldn't want it any other way... my one wish on my bucket list that can never be checked off is to get to jam with Jerry Garcia but I still have Bob Dylan on that list (you never know anything is possible) I heard Buddy Guy might be available (right!!! in my dreams...)
