Gabrielle “Gabby” North was born March 2005 in Houston, Texas. By the time Gabby was 3 she was singing and dancing at a level well advanced for her age. It was clear even then that she was a prodigy. Early on, Gabby exhibited not just natural musical talent but a self motivation and confidence that left anyone who made her acquaintance impressed. Raised in church, Gabby also showed a solid grasp of her faith leading her to later share not just her talent but her time. Gabby has been volunteering at the Houston Outreach Center for over a year now. She helps the adults fold clothes, sort toys, and entertains all in her presence. She is a vegan that has never had a taste for meat; after understanding that meat comes from animals she knew she was fortunate to never have a desire to eat them. Gabby loves school because as she states, “I like learning new things!”
Currently Gabby is performing at local churches and other venues in the Houston area. She has been featured as an opening performer for playwright Je’Caryous Johnson’s Men, Money, and Gold Diggers.
Gabby is being vocally coached by the critically recognized Ms. Charlie Berry; enrolled at the prestigious Houston Ballet; and takes private dance lessons at former Destiny Child member LaToya Luckett's L Studio from world class instructor Janna Moore-Calliste.
