2-15 started as a way to kill time for four highschool students, Jaron Taylor, Jared Garner, Adam Morrell, and Tanner Millican. However, in the winter of 2010, they decided it was time to take their former highschool hobby more seriously. They then added Jamie Trimmer on keys and vocals and recorded two songs and released their demo in February of 2010. In September of 2010 2-15 recorded another song and released it with their demo as an ep called, "This Is Not A Drill." Since the start of 2011 they have played over 50 shows throughout the southeast, and the opportunities continue to grow.
