Edgewize formed in late 1999 released a 4 song e.p. called "On Deaf Ears". The e.p. did far more for the band than expected, having been played on local radio programs from New Hampshires Rock 101 and Bostons WAAF for a solid year coupled with extensive amounts of live performances throughout New England. In 2003 Edgewize went through some lineup changes and brought in a new guitarist and bassist. This lineup wrote a batch of new songs and hit the studio. An unofficial release of songs called "The Prelude Sessions" came from these recordings but never became an official release and the intended new album and edgewize as a band came to an end in 2005.
In 2009 founding member and drummer "H" found some old original recordings and had the idea of maybe recording these for fun so the music wasn't lost forever. Reconnecting with the bands original guitarist edgewize was reborn to give new life to old material. The result was a 10 songs that became the album "Rebirth" released August of 2011. Edgewize is as solid as ever and look to create more in the future!
