Annie Bacon is a San Francisco-based Indie-Folkster. Equal parts Folk, Anti-Folk, Americana, Rock and Indie-Pop, O-SHEN combines Annie’s sweet and compelling voice with highly literate lyrics, harmonies and driving rhythms. The strong emotional impulse in Annie’s songs ache towards a re-definition of traditional sounds, while the songs also playfully make space for an eclectic audience.

Originally from Maine, Annie has forged a performance style that is flirtatious and engaging. She is equally at home in a gritty basement bar or in front of a rapt audience, as a solo artist or with a full band. O-SHEN made its debut in June of ’08 to a standing-room only audience in San Francisco and recently released its first EP – Triumph Over Idiots.
