With a discography spanning 7 cd’s of originals, all written by Andre Mols, the band took a hiatus at the beginning of 2011 with Andre’s decision to visit Australia and its wonders. So far it’s been a wonderful ride ! Meanwhile, with a new cd of originals awaiting to be recorded with a band that mixes both aussie and brazilian musicians, Andre prepares a special appearance at one of the top Australian venues – The Hi Fi, in Brisbane, Queensland. The event, aptly called “Skyline Music Festival”, will have as support acts aussie bands Blues Corp, Blind Lemon, and American singer Angela Fabian. On this gig, Andre will be performing some of the songs of this new cd, while also playing some of his other originals and his own interpretations of blues-rock classics. A must see !

SKYLINE MUSIC FESTIVAL. Supported by some of the best blues acts in SE QLD, BluesCorp, Blind Lemon, Angela Fabian. A self taught guitar playersingercomposer, Andre Mols began playing guitar at the early age of seven, and in the mid eighties started playing with a rock band. Upon the discovery of the blues, in 1991 Andre forms THE NOT YET FAMOUS BLUES BAND, one of the first blues bands in Brazils Centre-West and the pioneer of such genre in his state, Gois. Through the years, Andre Mols and TNYFBB were the pivot for an intense exchange with all the artists of this musical genre in Brazil. The band played a lot in those years, performing its own kind of blues-rock in various events and locations, for a variety of audiences. Revered as one of Brazils best blues-rock guitar players, Andre Mols has graced the pages of Guitar Player magazine and had nationwide videos broadcasted by Globo TV, the countrys most influential TV station. Some career highlights are: In September 2004 Andre Mols and TNYFBB were the opening act for the legendary British rock band DEEP PURPLE in Brazil. In late 2005, Andre Mols and TNYFBB were the first Brazilian band to perform at the Latin Grammy vip party in Los Angeles at the invitation of the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences. In 2007 the band released "Sete." Its seventh album, featuring 12 tracks in Portuguese, the songs on this CD receiving strong airplay in major Brazilian radio stations. In 2009 and 2010 Andre Mols also performed with Joe Lynn Turner (Deep Purple, Rainbow) and server as consultant for Dutch band Focus, american guitar slinger Richie Kotzen, british super group UFO and the legendary Johnny Winter, during their brazilian tours.
