Ali Sperry/Adam Chaffins/Jamie Dick are a Nashville trio united by deep friendship, love of music, and a penchant for finely-crafted cocktails. Their inspired mix of songs, stories and sounds is anchored by impeccable musicianship yet delivers far beyond the Nashville stereotype. Ali Sperry's (guitar and vocals) songs tell stories of hearts broken and mended and the universal quest for connection. Born to a singer-songwriter mother and cellist/composer father, Ali has been singing and writing songs since she was very young, and she plans to always do so. Ali gathered her nearest and dearest Nashville musician friends to flesh out the songs on her debut album Storybook in 2012, with lush arrangements that integrate elements of folk ballads, feel-good rock and roll, and atmospheric string-infused pop. With her band, The Family Vacation, she tours frequently and has shared shows with Langhorne Slim, The Spring Standards, Chris Stills, Elephant Revival, and others. Ali and her cohorts have been recording a new batch of songs that will be released this summer as the EP "Comes and Goes". While waiting for his true calling as a professional golfer-actor-celebrity, drummer Jamie Dick (drums) enjoys the best seat in the house. Jamie moved to Nashville nine years ago to play in the band of Nick Pagliari and has made a happy home for himself in the Nashville music community. Early on he met Kai Welch and Tommy Hans, and the three soon became best buds, forming the band Tommy & the Whale. In the subsequent years, Jamie toured extensively with Abigail Washburn & the Village, performing in the US, China, Australia, New Zealand and the UK. Jamie has also played with a wide range of bands and artists including Langhorne Slim, Andrew Combs, Jill Andrews, Tattletale Saints, Gill Landry, Rayna Gellert, Brian Simpson, and Kai Welch. Adam Chaffins (bass/guitars/vocals) grew up in Eastern Kentucky and earned a music degree before moving to Nashville in 2010. After attending the first annual Savannah Music Festival Acoustic Music Seminar hosted by such luminaries as Mike Marshall, Edgar Meyer, Julian Lage and Tony Trischka, Adam began his journey in the world of new acoustic music. He now serves as the bassist and vocalist in the progressive-bluegrass group The Deadly Gentlemen. Adam has written, preformed and recorded with the likes of Susan Werner, The Infamous Stringdusters, World Party, Levi Lowery, The Carter Brothers and numerous others, and continues a career of songwriting and recording in Nashville. www.alisperry.com Ali Sperry and the Family Vacation https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lvyN8fUK95M Adam Chaffins with The Deadly Gentlemen http://youtu.be/DlChGzT67vw
