BASSIST for GUNSLINGER, HAWKLORDS, & MEADS OF ASPHODEL..! I started playin Bass in 1978 but played it like a Ryth/Lead guitar as I never had lessons! My cousin Nigel Potter & I played alot together(he plays 6 strg)and within a year we were gigging as GUNSLINGER! Playing Bass "properly", is ok, but I found it boring, So I found myself drawn to the styles of Lemmy(chord strumming,dirty as hell) and Stanley Clarke(melodic/intelligent lead bass, chord riffs and harmonics).
Joined hawkwind in 1984...
